Day 1: Auckland

On arrival at Auckland Airport your host will take you to your hotel by luxury mini coach. Relax on your balcony and while sipping a glass of wine enjoy majestic views of Auckland Harbour.  A limousine will take you to one of Auckland’s most famous restaurants to wine & dine on some of the best that our country has to offer. Afterwards, mix with the other guests who will be joining you on tour. After dinner there will be a presentation of your complimentary tour merchandise pack, afterwards you will return to your hotel by limousine.

Day 2: Auckland

Visit Kelly Tarlton’s Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World. If you want to “live life to the full” try a bungee jump from the sky tower or Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Day 3: Bay of Islands

After breakfast in the Hilton, we drive to the beautiful Bay of Islands where yachts and cruise boats sail past fabulous tropical islands as dolphins leap through crystal clear waters.

Day 4: Bay of Islands

Begins with breakfast while enjoying the magnificent scenery from our beach front apartment of cruise boats & yachts on the beautiful Bay of Islands harbour.

We then drive to the spectacular Kauri Cliffs course, where we play the course which is rated #30 in the world outside USA.
 

Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Orlando, Florida. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,119 yards/6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level.

Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland.

Day 5: Bay of Islands / Hawkes Bay

A non-golfing day. We fly from Kerikeri to Napier. This area is renowned for producing some of New Zealands finest wines. After lunch enjoy a glass or two of some of Hawkes Bay's famous sauvignon blanc & merlot.

Day 6: Hawkes Bay

After a hearty breakfast we look forward to playing Cape Kidnappers course.

Cape Kidnappers designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the par 71 golf course.
Measures 7,119yards (6,510metres) and will challenge golfers of all skills and levels.

Completed in 2004, Cape Kidnappers has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf and is currently ranked the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf Magazine.

Day 7: Napier / Taupo / Rotorua

Today we play Wairakei International, New Zealand's first internationally recognised golf course which sprawls over 450acres of natural countryside. This coupled with the 6400metres from the championship tees & 108 large well placed bunkers has led to worldwide acclaim.  We drive to Rotorua in the afternoon. Evening Maori cultural show and ‘Hangi’ (Traditional Maori feast).

Day 8: Rotorua

Sightseeing in Rotorua, one of the world’s most spectacular geothermal wonderlands. Geysers throughout the area, and bubbles from cauldron-like mud pools.

Day 9: Rotorua Golf Club

Situated in picturesque Whakarewarewa, Arikikapakapa is a full 18 hole all weather links-style golf course with easy walking and an excellent golfing layout. Golf that is truly unique. Where you play (carefully!) alongside steaming & bubbling mud pools.  Rotorua golf club is possibly the only geothermal golf course on the planet !
After lunch – Fun time! Presentation of Awards/prizes for our “Tour Winners”!

We then drive back to Auckland for a departure with reflections of a wonderful golfing experience

where we have learned how it feels to be on tour!

Day 2: Auckland/Queenstown

The day begins with a magnificent scenic helicopter flight across North Shore beaches & landing on Gulf Harbour golf club,

a course renowned for hosting the world cup & N.Z open. Spectacular finishing hole, ocean views and rolling terrain.

It meanders through native grasses and vegetation and has a natural look and feel from start to finish.

 

 

The front nine is slightly hillier and has an open feeling, while the back nine wanders towards the ocean and culminates with some of the most scenic holes anywhere. Comparisons have already been made to Pebble Beach Golf Links. Its beauty, challenge and enjoyment are sure to attract international acclaim.

In the afternoon we depart from Auckland airport and fly across the snow clad Southern Alps to Queenstown.

Day 3: Queenstown - New Zealand’s premier visitor destination



Queenstown, a golfers paradise!

Queenstown is New Zealand’s premier visitor destination. In the morning we play Millbrook, one of the most scenic golf course in the world with extraordinary photo opportunities at every turn. This championship course offers five different tee positions catering for golfers of every level of playing expertise. The Coronet nine, developed on land to the west of the existing course will form part of three 18-hole combinations, where any two out of the ‘nine’ can be played, the Coronet nine is superbly crafted within a dramatic landscape, superbly showcasing Millbrook’s latest residential property development. A golf resort in breathtaking surroundings. Day 4: Queenstown/Dunedin

After breakfast a very scenic drive through the Southern Alps mountainous area of wine making & fruit growing to New Zealand’s most southern city, Dunedin. We play the Otago golf club which is the oldest golf club in the southern hemisphere.

The championship course Balmacewen, is recognized as one of the finest in New Zealand and has hosted some of the greatest players of our game.

Day 5: Dunedin/Christchurch

Day 6: Christchurch

Today we play the aptly named  Clearwater” course. The par 72 championship course is home to the HSBC NZ PGA championship. Designed by John Darby in consultation with New Zealand golfing legend, Sir Bob Charles, the course combines elements of link golf inspired by the great Scottish course with parkland golf, more reminiscent of Florida.

Playable year-round, the course meanders around a succession of spring-fed lakes and trout filled streams, with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Southern Alps.

Day 7: Hawke’s Bay (Cape Kidnappers)

Today we play Cape Kidnappers designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the par 71 golf course measures 7,119yards (6,510metres) and will challenge golfers of all skills and levels. Completed in 2004, Cape Kidnappers has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf and is currently ranked the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf magazine. Drive to Taupo after lunch.

Day 8: Taupo/Rotorua

Play at Wairakei international - rated by the prestigious US Golf Digest magazine to be in the top 100 courses in the world outside of the USA in 2005. Drive to Rotorua in the afternoon.

Day 9: Rotorua

We then drive back to Auckland after lunch for a departure with reflections of a wonderful golfing experience where we have learned how it feels to be on tour!

Day 12: Auckland to your home country

Return to Auckland airport and flying back to your home country.

Price from $5,700 (NZ dollars) per person and is subject to New Zealand GST tax (12.5%).


The tour featured is our “Prestige” luxury tour incorporating the top courses in New Zealand with 4 Star plus accommodation however New Zealand has many quality golf courses, hotels, lodges etc. that will still provide a wonderful golfing holiday plus excellent accommodation yet at affordable prices.

Tours can be totally customised to suit everyone’s budget. Options available include helicopter trips (land right on the golf course), trout fishing, snow skiing plus many other activities can be arranged for non-golfers.
